Sound-Design

My sound-design journey

I have been doing sound-design for years now, starting out by making my own synth patches for my first tracks, to then expanding into a more experimental world of sound design. by creating sounds for my own musical projects I learn various techniques, ranging from using analog synths to digital resampling, to using various recording techniques to create and discover new sounds. Something always fascinates me when you create a completely new sound out of something totally different, it’s like shaping entire worlds.
Currently, I work as a sound designer for Gareth Coker, creating sound design and synth patches for his scores.
My favorite synthesis technique is spectrally morphing sounds together. My favorite oft synth is Serum 2, for it’s flexibility and endless possibilities.
Last but not least, my favorite analog synth is my Juno 106, for being such a simple but amazing sounding synth.

This is just a bunch of random sound design experiments which I’m proud enough of to share but aren’t worth it to upload anywhere else.
